Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Aizenau is a rather average foe. His astounding mobility is completely negated by the fact that he cannot move on his own accord. His stats are decent all-around, but he lacks access to a throne. The main threat will come from the seemingly endless stream of cavalry and siege mages that spawn near him, all of whom will be able to provide him with an ample level of cover fire.

There are three ways to deal with Aizenau. He may be defeated through standard combat, and doing so will instantly end all enemy reinforcements. The player will need to turn the tide against Aizenau's powerful cavalry, and pay careful heed to avoid getting obliterated by reinforcements before they can strike him down. This strategy is both difficult, turn-consuming, and unnecessary, but can provide players with ample rewards should their units be strong enough to stick it out.

Alternatively, the player may memorize Aizenau's spawnpoint and position a unit on the tile before Aizenau spawns. Doing so will prevent Aizenau from appearing on the map, and will limit his army to a single initial wave of reinforcements. As long as the player is equipped to take down three cavaliers armed with Rapiers, this method is painless and drastically reduces the difficulty of the chapter.

Finally, the player may ignore Aizenau altogether. The moment the player sends any unit into the castle near the bottom of the map, Aizenau's army will flee the scene to avoid initiating a war with southern Thracia.

Entomology[]

Aizenau is likely a corruption of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who, prior to ascending to presidency, had an extensive military career, partaking in the Pancho Villa Expedition and both World Wars. This forms a minor theme with the boss of the preceding chapter whose name is derived from Eisenhower's predecessor, Harry S. Truman.
