A Band (腕輪 udewa - bracelet; bangle) is a type of item that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and only from the second playthrough onwards. When equipped they increase certain stat growths. However, you can only equip one band per character. There are a total of 11 of these bands in the game.

Types of BandsEdit

Soldier BandEdit


The Soldier Band adds +5% HP growth and +5% Defense growth. It is dropped by Karuma, the boss of chapter 8.

Archer BandEdit


The Archer Band (弓兵の腕輪 Kyuuhei no Udewa- Archer Bracelet) adds +5% Skill growth and +5% Speed growth. It is in Shinon's inventory.

Mage BandEdit


The Mage Band (魔道士の腕輪 Madoushi no Udewa- Mage Bracelet) adds +10% Magic growth. It is dropped by Balmer in chapter 7.

Fighter BandEdit


The Fighter Band (戦士の腕輪 Senshi no Udewa- Warrior/Soldier Bracelet) adds +5% HP growth and +5% Strength growth. During a second playthrough of Path of Radiance, Boyd comes equipped with it.

Knight BandEdit


The Knight Band (重歩兵の腕輪 Jyuuhohei no Udewa [Needs Verification]- Heavy Foot Soldier Bracelet) adds +5% Strength growth and +5% Defense growth. It is held by Gatrie from the second playthrough onwards.

Paladin BandEdit


The Paladin Band  (騎士の腕輪 Kishi no Udewa- Knight Bracelet ) adds +5% HP growth and +5% Speed growth. Oscar has this in his inventory from the second playthrough and onwards.

Pegasus BandEdit


The Pegasus Band adds +5% Luck growth and +5% Resistance growth. It is held by Marcia from the second playthrough onwards.

Wyvern BandEdit


The Wyvern Band adds +5% Strength growth and +5% Defense growth. During one's second playthrough of Path of Radiance, it comes equipped on Jill when she joins.

Thief BandEdit


The Thief Band (盗賊 の腕輪 Touzoku no Udewa-Thief Bracelet) adds +5% Skill growth and +5% Speed growth.

In Chapter 3: Pirates Aground, the boss, Havetti will be carrying it. Simply kill him to get it.

Priest BandEdit


The Priest Band (禅僧の腕輪 Zensou no Udewa- Priest Bracelet) adds +5% Luck growth and +5% Resistance growth. Rhys is carrying it from the second playthrough onwards.

Sword BandEdit


The Sword Band  (剣士の腕輪 Kenshi no Udewa-Swordsman/Swordswoman's Bracelet) adds +5% Skill growth and +5% Luck growth. Mia is carrying it from the second playthrough onwards.

TriviaEdit

Due to the usually free translation works of Nintendo of America, the Paladin Band and Knight Band have their names exchanged from the original Japanese game. 騎士 Kishi means "knight" in Japanese, and is part of the name of the 騎士の腕輪 Kishi no Udewa item listed above, meaning literally "Knight Bracelet". The character that comes with the Knight Band belongs to the アーマーナイト Armor Knight class, which may be the cause to the change of name.
