Barst (called Barts in the Japanese version) is one of the three axe fighters in the Talis mercenary group from Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi. He supposedly became a mercenary after his mother died, due to the fact that he needed to get money to help raise his younger twin brothers Bord and Cord. He is first recruitable in chapter 2. Like the two of his fellow axe-wielding mercenaries, he is under the command of Ogma. After the war, he leaves Ogma's group and becomes a pirate.
