A Blade Paladin (known as Blade Knight in the Japanese version) is a Paladin who uses swords. They are mounted on horses. They are promoted from Sword Knights, and they can be promoted to a Gold Knight. Blade Paladins tend to not fight as well as Paladins who wield other weapons, as the lance users are more abundant than axe users in most games. They are also one of few classes to only be able to use one type of weapon at Second-tier.
