“A rare gemstone worth 5,000 gold.”
—In-game description, Rekka no Ken.

The Blue Gem (青宝石 Ao hōseki) is a gem that first debuts in Fire Emblem: Binding Blade. The Blue Gem serves no other practical purpose apart from providing gold through its sale to a vendor (usually 5,000 gold). The Blue Gem, alongside its other lucrative gem counterparts, is substituted by the Bullion in later entries to the Fire Emblem Series.
