The Bright Lance (撃魔のやり Ikima no yari, lit. Demon Striking Lance) is a Lance that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. This lance is one that is, as its name suggests, visits light upon the darkness to vanquish it, and is therefore capable of inflicting effective damage against Monster units. Thence positioned as an effective Class Buster against monsters, this effectiveness is further fortified by by its low Weapon Rank and high Durability, allowing it to not just be equipped by those who are less adept in wielding lances, but also last for a longer period of time.
The Bright Lance can only be obtained from a promotional event in Japan, and cannot be acquired in the English versions without the employment of cheat codes or by hacking. This lance is analogous to the Shadowkiller, the Fiendcleaver and the Beacon Bow.
