Caineghis (カイネギス, Kainegisu?) is the King of Gallia, the nation of Beast tribe Laguz. He hopes for a day when beorc and laguz can live together in peace.

The king of Gallia and friend of King Ramon. He wants nothing more than to see beorc and laguz live together in harmony, although he admits that it is still difficult for him to trust most beorc. He has known Greil since his arrival in Gallia which ties how he knows Ike. He decides to help Crimea by sending Lethe and Mordecai with Ike. He later sends Ranulf to help them fight as well. In the last chapter you can have his shadow Giffca fight with you as one of the three choices of reinforcements.

He is a NPC in this game.

He views the Laguz-Begnion war with calmness that contrasts starkly with the opinions of his hot-blooded successor and nephew, Skrimir. After the war, he abdicates the throne to Skrimir and lives the rest of his life peacefully. Countless songs tell of his valor.

He can fight in the Endgame of Part 4.
