Caldonia (Caledonia in the Japanese version) is the second-largest of the three largest islands in the Western Isles featured in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and is located on the southern edge of the archipelago. An important location on the island is Castle Edina, where men from all over the Isles were rounded up and held in prison cells to be transferred to work at Mt. Eburacum, The Mines of Death. Arcard, the corrupt Etrurian noble in charge of operations on the Isles, put the general Morgan in charge of Castle Edina.

Story[]

Chapter 11B: Escape to Freedom takes place on Caldonia during a major escape attempt by some of the prisoners. Under advice from Elffin, Roy and his army investigate the situation.

Etymology[]

'Caledonia' is the Roman name for modern-day Scotland. This is in keeping with Elibe's geography and etymology, which roughly corresponds to that of Europe and North Africa.
