Distant Counter is a Type A Passive skill introduced in Fire Emblem Heroes that made its main series debut in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Overview[]

As it appears in Fire Emblem Heroes and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Distant Counter allows units to always preform a counterattack regardless of the attacker's distance from the unit. In Three Houses, the skill returns as Counterattack and was initially an enemy exclusive ability until Jeritza was made playable in the Crimson Flower route in the 1.1.0 update.

In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, the skill functions differently. In this game, Counterattack causes enemies to take damage proportional to the damage inflicted on the unit.
