Douglas is the Great General of Etruria. Douglas is the adoptive father of Lalam and is very loyal to his country, he first appears as an enemy but if you leave him alone in that chapter and don't kill him not only will he become a playable character in the next chapter but you will get to access the gaiden chapter for that level. Douglas was the first person to know that Elphin was truly prince Mildain and helped him escape to the western Isles with Lalum, on the ship owned by Geese.
