In the GBA Fire Emblem games, Druids are promoted Shamans and are capable of using Dark Magic along with staves. To promote a Shaman to that rank, one must be of level 10 and higher and use a Guiding Ring or a Master Seal. They have a higher physical Defense and HP but lower Speed and Skill than Sages. They usually have high magic, resistance, and a high critical ratio.

Strangely, units who are druids tend to have a lot less luck than most characters.

In Radiant Dawn, they can still use Dark magic but they are not playable. Pelleas' class is roughly equivalent to a Rekka no Ken Druid, stat-wise.

[edit] Playable Characters of this class

Knoll as a druid attacking with a critical hit.

The first playable druids appeared in Fūin no Tsurugi. Lleu and Sophia could promote to Druids from Shamans, also Niime was playable as a Druid pre-promote.

Canas was the only playable Druid in Rekka no Ken. He promoted to a Druid from a Shaman. Apart from Athos (who is only playable in the final chapter), Canas is the only playable unit capable of using Dark magic. This makes Canas one of the most popular units in the game.

In The Sacred Stones, the Druid class is one of the numerous classes, for example, the Pupil Ewan can eventually promote, and Knoll has the option of promoting into a Druid (the other option being Summoner). In this game, Druids can use Anima magic, Dark magic, and Staves.
