The Elysian Whip is a promotional item that allows flying units Level 10 and above to change classes. It can be used by Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders to promote into Falcon Knights and Wyvern Lords respectively. In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, both Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders can also be chosen to promote into Wyvern Knights. Meanwhile in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, it is specifically used to promote Pegasus Knights into Falcon Knights, instead of Dracoknights, and can only be obtained from the Online Shop.

'Elysian' is an adjective meaning 'blissful, delightful,' from the Greek Elysium, also called the Elysian Fields, the part of the underworld where heroes and righteous people lived.
