Etymology[]

In English, Hebrew, Arabic, Greek and Latin - "seraphim" is a type of celestial or heavenly being in Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The singular is "seraph" and the plural is "seraphim". These beings were depicted as angels with six fiery red wings; one pair would cover their feet and legs, another pair would cover their faces, and the last pair would be used to fly. The seraphim are also depicted as the highest order of angels in Abrahamic faiths, always being next to God crying out "holy, holy, holy" as a testament to their devotion to Him.
