—In-game description, The Blazing Blade
Forblaze (フォルブレズ Foruburezu) the Scorching Reason (業火の理, Gōka no Kotowari lit. Reason of Hellfire) is an Anima Magic tome from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Forblaze is the foremost Anima Magic tome of Elibe, and was forged during the Scouring for use against Manaketes. This tome is primarily used by the Archsage Athos, both during the Scouring and the events of The Blazing Blade.
After the Scouring, the Forblaze tome was sealed within the depths of a temple in Arcadia by Athos and Bramimond. The seal is later broken during the events of The Blazing Blade, where it is intended to be used against Nergal, whose highly developed arcane powers have rendered him impervious to normal physical attacks. The Forblaze tome is then returned to Arcadia's Water Temple after Nergal's plot is foiled.
The Forblaze tome is reclaimed by Roy's army during the events of The Binding Blade, taken from Ohtz, a Sage of Bern's army that wished to claim its might. If all the holy weapons are reunited by the time King Zephiel is slain, the weapons will then guide Roy and his army to the Dragon Temple, to where Idunn, Jahn, and Brunya prepare to exterminate humanity, and return control of Elibe to the dragons.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred StonesEdit
|Event||Ch. 14x - Clear the chapter to obtain the tome.|
- When cast by Athos in The Blazing Blade, a massive ball of flame is summoned, followed by a near-simultaneous eruption and downpour of flame and magma. When cast by other mages in The Binding Blade, the ball of flame does not appear, and the flame has a less fiery, yellow-orange color.
- In The Sacred Stones, Forblaze exists in the game's item files as "Dummy" with stats identical to what it had in The Binding Blade. It lacks any spell animation but can still be used to kill enemies. It is completely unobtainable without hacking the game.
- Because it is a Dummy weapon in The Sacred Stones, it lacks the boost to Luck that was present in the past GBA games.
