Gra is a country on the continent of Akaneia in the games Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi, Monshou no Nazo, and Shadow Dragon. It is located on an island which is directly east of Altea. It was founded after the death of Anri, when there was an inheritance issue between Anri's brothers and they separated, although Altea and Gra retained close bonds and were allies in all conflicts. In Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi, Gra betrayed Altea and attacked them from the rear. Gra is lead by King Jiol, a general.
Gra was left in ruins after the War of Darkness but during the War of Heroes they received support from Emperor Hardin of the Akaneian empire in exchange for their loyalty and Jiol's daughter Sheema was put in power.
