Iron Poleax
Talk0this wiki
The Iron Poleax (鉄の戦斧 tetsu no taiono, lit. Iron War Axe) is an axe only found in the game Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Previous games contained a weapon similar in design called the Halberd or just Poleax; however, the Iron Poleax and its steel and silver versions don't carry the ability to be effective against calvary like the Halberd did. It is analogous to the Iron Blade and the Iron Greatlance. It is similar in stats to the Steel Axe, with a slightly higher might and weight but lower accuracy. Despite not having as much of an accuracy drop from the regular steel weapon of its class as the Iron Blade does from the Steel Sword, it still ranks third in accuracy between the three large iron weapons; however it is also the most powerful of the three.
