Kempf (クンプフ) is a boss character in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is a very arrogant noble of the Freege family, and the self-proclaimed rival of Reinhardt, although Reinhardt does not see it this way, and thus despises Olwen, Reinhardt's younger sister, because of it.

During the game, he imprisons Olwen in hopes of getting Reinhardt out of his position, but not too long after this, Leif's army invades where he is stationed and Kempf flees. In Chapter 11x, Kempf orders all troops to initiate a "Murder Hollace", which essentially means they are being ordered to fight to the death.

Eventually, Kempf is seen again in Chapter 16A, guarding some ballistae in a formation that he is ordered not to move from. However, Olwen dislodges him by taunting him, and Kempf is slain shortly after.

Overall

Kempf is seen in both Chapter 11 and Chapter 16A. In the former, you cannot kill him, but after attacking him, he will flee the next turn. In Chapter 16A (if you choose this route), it is best to have Olwen lure Kempf away from his post in order to kill him easily. Consider stealing the Thoron tome if you can.
