Lan is a background character from TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. She was the wife of Lionheart and the mother of Plum. It is stated that Plum strongly resembles her.

Profile

Because she was born into a poor family, Lan was sold as a dancer to a traveling troupe of entertainers when she was a child. It is mentioned that she thought about committing suicide almost every day. One day, she was rescued by Lionheart, and they eventually fell in love. During this time, she received a mirror from Lionheart as a gift. When Lan was pregnant with Plum, their home in Blood was attacked by bandits, who took off with both of them.

Eventually, Lan was rescued by a man named Daros, who carried her to the village of Taurus. During this time, she gave birth to Plum and became a mother figure to Daros's son, Barts. Although Lan did love Daros to some extent, she was too deeply in love with Lionheart to admit it. As a result, she and Daros never married, despite his own romantic feelings for her. Some time before the game's events, she died of an illness.
