Originally a Cleric at the Temple of Mila, she became the one of Lima IV's wives when his royal procession arrived at the temple. Charmed by her beauty, Lima stole her away in the night, taking her to the royal castle and forcing her to join his seraglio of brides. Such lifestyle proved to be difficult for her, as she later fell ill and died soon after giving birth to Anthiese, leaving her only a circlet as proof of Anthiese's royal heritage.
According to a priestess in the Temple of Mila, when Liprica first held the infant Celica in her arms, she vowed to never let Celica stand before Mila. It is unknown for what reasons this was, but presumably, it was due to Celica inheriting the Brand.
During the events of the game, Celica hears this story for the first time from a priestess of Mila named Irma, Liprica's best friend at the temple, and finally receives the circlet, allowing her to promote to the Princess class.
