The Loptyr Sword (ロプトの剣 Roputo no ken) is a special Sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. An evil blade that is solely bound to Raydrik and his Deadlord counterpart, the Loptyr Sword is one that is, prior to being bequeathed to his possession, imbued with a nefarious curse by the Lopto Sect. Like the spell of the same name, the sword is also in possession of the ability of halving the attack power of all enemy units. The only conceivable means by which this may be countered is by harnessing the power contained within the Blaggi Sword, one that is especially accentuated when placed in the hands of a competent sword-user.
It is possible for one to obtain the Loptyr Sword without the aid of hacks or cheats, but this may only be achieved by means of capturing Raydrik/Mus before stealing it from his inventory - A process that is tedious, principally owing to the fact that characters possessing naturally high Builds that far exceed that which is boasted by Raydrik/Mus are, on the whole, not eligible candidates of wielding the Blaggi Sword, a fact that causes them to be incapable of inflicting copious amounts of damage to efficiently dock his HP. This is only worsened by the fact that engaging in attempts to capture Raydrik/Mus will inevitably see one's Accuracy rate being drastically reduced, effectively adding on to the difficulty of procuring the Loptyr Sword, to the point where the task at hand seems nigh impossible and futile. Also, acquiring the sword is, apart from functioning as a means to embellish one's equipment stockpile and instilling a sense of accomplishment into the player who has succeeded in carrying out the task, pointless, as there are no playable characters who are able to wield the blade.
