“Your Highness, this is the only life I know. Please, you don't need to get so emotional.”

Mahnya (マーニャ Mānya) is a character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. She is the captain of the Silessean Pegasus Knights and the older sister of Ferry, and is also one of the Four Angelic Knights of Silesse. Lewyn notes in a conversation with Ferry that he once had a crush on Mahnya, but later loses these feelings when he realises that Ferry is the one he truly loves.
Civil war breaks out in Silesse when Daccar and Maios rebel against Rahna, refusing to accept Lewyn as heir. Mahnya and her knights ride out to face Pamela, but they are ambushed by Andorey of Jungby and his Beige Ritter, an army of mounted archers. Mahnya and her entire squad are killed, to the shock and grief of Rahna, Lewyn, and Ferry.
Her niece, Fee, later names her pegasus steed after Mahnya in memory of her.
Mahnya appears in Chapters 3 and 4 as an unrecruitable NPC unit.

As the leader of the Silessen Pegasus Knights, Mahnya has higher stats than any of the other four Angelic Knights of Silesse. Sadly enough, she is ill-equipped to fight against Pamela, and the unexpected arrival of Andorey and the Beige Ritter make matters worse.
