“Heheh... The heads of the Grannvale Traitors should fetch us a nice little sum!”
—Maios talking to himself in Chapter 4 regarding Sigurd and his army.
Maios (マイオス Maiosu) is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. He is the Duke of Thove Castle, and the youngest brother of Duke Daccar and the late King of Silesse, the uncle of Prince Lewyn, and brother-in-law to Queen Rahna. Maios commands an army to attack Sigurd's army in Chapter 4 during the civil war outbreak in Silesse, a result of his refusal to allow Prince Lewyn to ascend the throne. He is later killed by Sigurd's army, but is later revealed to have succeeded in his task of distracting them from Duke Daccar laying siege to Silesse Castle.

Trivia
Edit
- As Maios's older brother (Lewyn's father) is stated to have carried Major Forseti Blood in the 20th Anniversary Fire Emblem artbook, Maios and Daccar should have at least Minor blood, but for some reason, neither of them do.
