Malledus (Morodof in the Japanese version) is a non-playable character from Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi. He is Marth's elderly tactician and the first tactician to appear in the Fire Emblem series. Malledus was also the former confidant to Marth's late father, King Cornelius. During the game, he explains to Marth the events of the war where Marth's ancestor, Anri, fought Medeus.
He never becomes a playable character.
At the start of Book 2 in Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo, he falls ill and can no longer help Marth, and is replaced by Jagen as the main strategist.
[edit] Trivia
When he is on the map before battles begin, Malledus appears as a bishop.
