The Mani Katti (マーニ・カティ Māni Kati) is a highly versatile katana-like sword in Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken; it is gained during the end of Chapter 2, and it is only usable by Lyn. The sword is substantially powerful, but its true power lies in its dynamic usefulness. Though similar to the Rapier, the Mani Katti has a critical hit percentage of 20, which is quite high for a weapon of its durability. It also is highly effective against armored and horse mounted units. It is the sister sword of the Sol Katti.
Story Origin
This blade was kept in a small church in Sacae, waiting for its chosen wielder to arrive, protected by a priest. A band of Bandits, led by a Mercenary named Glass, arrived and captured the priest. Glass came with the intention of stealing it and using it in battle. However, the spirits of the sword prevented him from drawing the sword. In his anger, Glass vowed to destroy the altar. Lyndis, Sain, and Kent arrived and defeated the bandits. After the battle, Lyndis was allowed to touch the sword to pray. The sword reacted to her touch, and she was able to draw it from its sheath as its rightful owner.
