The Marshall (将帥マーシャル Māsharu) is a combat physical class that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The promoted form of all three types of Generals appearing in the game, Marshalls are able to wield all weapons in the weapon triangle, although their maximum weapon rank in each is determined by the type of General that they promoted from.

The Black Knight class is noted to be a variation of the Marshall class. Zelgius has his own variant of the Marshall class, which is identical to the Black Knight class, save for its appearance.

OverviewEdit

CombatEdit

Marshalls share the same weaknesses as their first-tier and second-tier counterparts do: low Speed and Movement. Although not extremely versatile in all chapters, they are still a very reliable class to have, and are so defensive that they can be used practically as a wall against onslaughts of physical enemy units. Their dominance over the weapon triangle makes them even more versatile, transforming them into units with practically no physical weaknesses. They do, however, have surpisingly low stat caps for Defense, falling short of the male Dragonlord class's cap of 38. Their Resistance caps are rather high when compared to other physical units, a fact that is particularly true for Axe and Sword Marshalls.
