—In-game description, Shin Monshō
The Master Sword (マスターソード Masutā sōdo) is a powerful, yet rare, Sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, its remake, Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. A sword that is characterised by a plethora of characteristics that are reminiscent of a Silver Sword, the only stark difference that sets them apart lies in the fact that while the former is imbued with a substantial Critical hit rate, the latter is not.
This weapon doubles as a Brave Sword in both Thracia 776 and TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, in which it essentially grants its wielder the ability to perform two consecutive attacks in a row.

Trivia
- This sword's name, Master Sword, could possibly be derived from a recurring sword of the same name originating from the Legend of Zelda series. First appearing in A Link To The Past; this game was released shortly before Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem was launched, a fact that could explain why the sword seemingly manifests in two completely disparate games.
