A Mastery Skill (known as Ouji in the Japanese version) is a special type of skill that can be taught to units that meet the set requirements, and is only used in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. These skills, as the name "mastery" implies, are essentially special attacks, giving units special benefits when they attack and even having unique attack animations. Powerful already in Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn improved them by adding damage multipliers to them, essentially making them more powerful critical hits. The Mastery skills can be taught by either an Occult Scroll for Beorc units or a Satori Sign for Laguz units.
