“I'll take your head off if any one of you doesn't follow my orders... Now attack!”
—Muhammad
Muhammad (ムハマド Muhamado, also translated Muhammed) is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. In the context of the game, he engages in a competition of sorts with his rival, Ovo, in which the victor is the person who is able to slay Seliph first.
Muhammad is the most important prophet in the religion of Islam, and is de facto, being the founder of the religion. He once received a vision proclaiming there was only one God, instead of all of the pagan gods the tribes of Mecca believed in. He then gathered a number of followers, but this essentially angered others, causing him to be forced into a nearby city. Here, he managed to gather yet more followers, resulting in battles taking place between the city and Mecca. However, when the weapon of faith was unleashed, the city Muhammad was driven into won. Muhammad opted to spare the people of Mecca, as he merely desired to destroy the idols residing within the holy city, which the Hebrew Patriarch Abraham supposedly built a long time ago.
