Fire Emblem exists among the company's many established franchises, which also include Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokèmon, and Metroid, to name a few. In addition to their in-house development teams, Nintendo also has a number of subsidiary development studios including Intelligent Systems, the creators and developers of the Fire Emblem series.
