“Yes. I suppose even I have someone I want to send a letter to when I die. If I die, I want you to read my letter.”
—Noah to Zelots in Binding Blade.
Noah (ノア Noa) is a playable cavalier from Fire Emblem: Binding Blade. Noah is a member of the Illian mercenaries who were hired by Lord Hector shortly before his death in Binding Blade. Noah is best friends with Treck and trained up Fir in the arena. Noah is generally a very friendly person and a good unit. He states in their supports that he fell in love with Fir at first sight. He is also close to his liege lady Juno. He set out to test his strength when the war ended.
He makes a brief cameo appearance in chapter 18 of the Hasha no Tsurugi manga.

Unlike many cavaliers in Fire Emblem: Binding Blade, Noah specializes in swords. Should a player seek a Paladin to wield the Durandal, he's the optimal choice. Although that being said, it would probably be better if Durandal is given to a Swordmaster or Dieck rather than a Paladin. He ties with Percival for having the highest Constitution among the playable Paladins. He is the only Cavalier that will not suffer an attack speed penalty while using a Steel Sword, which can be very useful during the Western Isles chapters. Statwise, he's a decent cavalier, although he won't excel in any stats other than Luck and Skill, which makes him very accurate and have a better chance to land a critical hit. However, his strength can wind up a little low, but a good support can make up for that.
Noah - Vagrant Knight (流浪の傭兵騎士 Rurō no yōhei kishi)
- Wanting to test his ability, Noah left Zelots's group and traveled the world as a lone mercenary knight. Although several nations offered him positions in their militaries, he turned them all down. Many people have been inspired by his strength to live life by just being himself...
Noah is Hebrew for "rest, comfort." In the Book of Genesis, Noah had formed a covenant with God where he took his whole family and two of each animal onto a boat, while God flooded the world to punish all of those who had done evil. After the flood, a rainbow forms to show Noah that God did not forget him.
Noah is also a female name, she was the daughter of Zelophehad, in Numbers 26:33 in the Bible.
