The Nomad (遊牧民 Yuubokumin) class is a horse-mounted combat physical class that is exclusive to the Elibe Series of Fire Emblem Series. They are mounted bow users and can promote into Nomadic Troopers. Despite being mounted units, Nomads are capable of moving through forests without facing any additional movement penalty beyond what a foot unit would face, a distinct reference to the symbiotic relationship that they share with nature.
History in the Series
Nomads are introduced to the series in The Binding Blade as a class that is unique to the region of Sacae in Elibe, temporarily succeeding the Arch Knight from the Jugdral Series. Like their predecessors, Nomads wield Bows as their sole weapon of choice. Nomads promote into Nomadic Troopers, gaining the ability to engage in close-range melee combat with Swords.
The Nomad class is retired following The Blazing Blade, and its closest equivalent is the Ranger class in The Sacred Stones. Bearing a close semblance to its predecessor, this class wields Bows primarily and can also arm Swords as its secondary weapon of choice.
The Nomad class is succeeded by the Bow Knight class in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Bow Knights also wield Bows as their sole weapon of choice, but promote into completely different classes; the Paladin class in Path of Radiance and the Bow Paladin class in Radiant Dawn.

- Sue - The granddaughter of the Silver Wolf, Dayan, who is held captive in Chapter 6.
- Sin - A friend of Sue who joins a band of brigands to locate her.
The Blazing Blade
- Rath - The former captain of Araphen's castle guard, a member of the Kutolah tribe and Sue's father.
- Sealen - A member of Eubans' mercenary band.
