“I bring an invitation from my master, Nergal. "Return the children to me." Seems foolish to deliver the message... After all, I can take them both myself and go now!”
—Oleg

Oleg is the boss of Chapter 20 (Chapter 21 in Hector Mode) of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. He leads a small group of Black Fang soldiers who are in pursuit of Ninian and Nils, as well as Eliwood's group.

His portrait is a palette swap of Sealen.

Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Though he lacks in evasion and has mediocre defenses, Oleg is very powerful for an enemy boss, and poses a threat to many units who cannot take serious physical damage. This is especially true in Hector's story, where Oleg comes armed with a truly dangerous Killer Axe. Thankfully, it is possible to get Oleg to attack using his bow, denying him a chance to land a deadly Critical Hit and leaving him extremely vulnerable to a retaliatory strike.

Oleg is well hidden in the southeastern corner of the map, and it can be reasonably hard to see him without entering his battle range. In Eliwood's campaign, Oleg will become active the moment the player leaves the city. In Hector's story, he will become active the moment the player enters his range. In both cases, because he is the boss of a Fog of War map (the battle taking place at night), he has a dangerous tendency to attack players with little to no warning. This is extremely troubling, as Oleg possesses the game's second Hero Crest, and his death can cut the player's Arena usage short. Players should have concluded their Arena grinding and have Matthew or Legault positioned properly the moment they allow one of their units to set foot beyond the city's gate, as Oleg's assault will soon follow.
