Point Blank (近接射撃 Kinsetsushageki, lit. Proximity Shot in the Japanese version) is a Skill in Fire Emblem Fates.

The Point Blank tome can be obtained by completing Heirs of Fate 6: Lost in the Waves without taking any casualties.

Overview

Bow users with this skill can attack enemies at melee distance. This means that the user is not limited to Mini Bow, Shining Bow and Sidelong Yumi to fight attackers at melee distance. This makes bow users extremely dangerous as they are no longer limited by their inability to attack users up close (and not suffering the disadvantages of those three bows).

Trivia

• This skill alters Spy's Yumi in a unique way; rather than applying the effects the user being able to attack at a range of 1 and 3, it instead gives them an attack range of 1-3.
• In Conquest, Takumi is equipped with this skill in Chapter 10, as well as Chapter 23. Oddly enough, however, this skill is absent in Chapter 13.
