The Prince (プリンス Purinsu) is a combat physical class that recurrently appears across the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. In Genealogy of the Holy War, this class acts as the male variant of the Princess class, able to wield Swords but unable to use staves. This class does, however, have great potential, especially due to its promotion's power.
History in the SeriesEdit
In its original inception in Genealogy of the Holy War, the Prince class acts as the personal class of Leif. Locked to wielding Swords, the class truly shines upon promotion to the Master Knight class, granting it access to a more expansive arsenal of weaponry.
The class returns in Thracia 776, where it is noticeably inferior to its predecessor. The promoted form of the Lord class, the class is again locked to Leif, but this time lacks the qualities that make it truly shine in Genealogy of the Holy War.
The class, largely absent in the rest of the series, appears once more in Rekka no Ken, where it acts as a civilian class that is exclusive to Prince Zephiel of Bern. The class sports no battle animations when it engages in combat in this title.
