“End of...the road...”
— Radd's death quote
Radd (translated Radei in the Japanese version and Raddy in fan translations) is a character from Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi or more recently Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. You first meet him along with his friend/counterpart Caeser, where they offer to join your team. At the end of the game it is revealed that despite his great fighting prowess, he lays down his sword in favor of a woman, who is not revealed.

[edit] Character Depiction
Radd has red hair and eyes with a strange looking shirt appearing to be orange and black, with a green scarf. He's younger than most characters in the story judging by his facial features I.E. the large eyes common in younger characters in Fire Emblems' common art form.
[edit] In-Game
Radd starts at only level one, but you obtain him at the start of the map right next to an arena where you can train him. Unlike most myrmidons (especially in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon) he has an unusually high defense stat. When nearing his later levels, if you promote him to a Swordmaster class, he'll usually end up having pretty high speed and luck with about 19 or 20 defense rating. He can turn out to be a good unit rivaling Nabarl if you so choose to take the time to work on him in the arena located directly to the right of him.
