The 
Regal Sword (リガルソード Rigaru Sōdo) is a unique sword from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It is a gift that Ike receives from his father. It has weapon effectiveness against armored and mounted units, doing twice the normal amount of damage. Its stats are identical to the commonly appearing Rapier weapon, and early screen shots indicate that, at some point in development, Ike had used a "Rapier" as his preferred weapon.
It is impossible to obtain a second Regal Sword without cheat codes, and with its higher might and lower weight compared to the common Iron Sword, it is an extremely valuable weapon during the early stages of the game while Ike's Strength stat is still low. The sword is automatically gained at the beginning of chapter 4.
The Regal Sword is often confused with the Regal Blade, a powerful sword used by the Lloyd Reed morph in Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken.
The Regal sword is also seen as Ike's weapon on the cover art for PoR.
