“Strong against cavalry, knights.”
Reginleif (レギンレイヴ Reginreivu) is a Lance that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. The personal weapon of Ephraim, this lance is imbued with the unique ability of inflicting effective damage against cavalry and armoured units. This trait is shared with seven other weapons in the Fire Emblem Series, encompassing the Rapier, the Wolf Beil, Mani Katti, the Wing Spear, the Regal Sword, Thani and the Noble Rapier. Unlike the Rapier (and usually the lord characters to whom it is bound), the Reginleif is reasonably powerful when put to its intended use, a fact that is bolstered by Ephraim's decent stats.
It was lightly alluded to in Awakening as Ephraim's Lance.
Inflicts effective damage to cavalry and armoured units.

In the old Norse mythological poems Grímnismál and Nafnaþulur, 'Reginleif' is the name of a Valkyrie. Her name could possibly mean either "power-trace" or "daughter of the gods", positing it as one that is very fitting for a weapon that is bound to the prince of Renais.
- Reginleif is German for "regimental," which is appropriate, seeing how Ephraim leads a small band of soldiers even from his introduction.
