Robert was a Sable Knight who left the Grust Army to assist Camus in delivering Nyna to Hardin during the War of Darkness. He was the only Horseman in the group. As a pre-promoted unit he has the lowest growth rates of the Sable Knights but they're still quite good.
Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~ reveals Robert managed to avoid Doluna's wrath and he joins along with Belf and Leiden before the original game's chapter 13.

Compared with Warren, Robert suffers more in HP, Str and Def, but excels better in other stats. He is a worthy substitute for both Warren and Castor if the player decides not to use either for a Horseman. The Hero class is recommended for Robert, as the only things he loses are the bow rank and 2 movement; otherwise, his stats either stay the same or improve upon said reclassing, the one exception being Sorcerer.
Trivia Edit
- He has the same name as Robert from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and even starts out as a similar class to him.
- How Robert managed to avoid retribution from Doluna is unknown. Its likely he was in hiding after delivering Nyna to Aurelis.
