Rude (sometimes translated as Ruud) is the Boss of Chapter 2: The Princess of Bern in Fire Emblem: Binding Blade.

Rude is a greedy, traitorous man, who pretended that Princess Guinivere had disappeared from his custody to the higher Bern officials, with the intension of selling Guinivere to another country to use as leverage over Bern. According to Rude, he and his soldiers would have no future in the Bern Army and might as well make as much money as possible in their leave.

Rude's plans failed when the Princess's loyal servant Elen escaped. Elen ran west and eventually ran right into Roy. After explaining the situation to Roy and his party they decided to help her out.

Rude lead his forces against Roy to capture Elen back, but he inevitably failed to defeat them. Rude was killed in battle guarding the gate to his fort.
