“Lord Danann's orders... You are not to go any further!”

—Schmidt's battle quote
Schmidt is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. He is an officer serving under Danann during his reign of tyranny in Isaach. In what little screentime he has, he shows absolute and unquestioning loyalty to his lord. After Seliph captures two castles that belong to Danann, alongside the recruiting of either Iuchar or Iucharba by Larcei/Creidne, Danann orders Schmidt to depart from Ribaut and recapture the castles. He will eventually be stopped in his tracks and slain, unable to carry out his task.

Schmidt is a promoted unit and is armed with a Hero Axe, making him a fairly challenging enemy faced by Seliph and his initially small army. He will drop his Hero Axe upon being killed.
