“I don't want to hear your excuses. I waited, trusting that you would come, but you abandoned our oath. I felt so hurt and betrayed that I cast away my once long hair... I hated you so strongly that I honestly wanted to kill you. Would it be a sin to have you listen to at least a little of my resentment?”
—Sharon, in a conversation with Raffin

Sharon (シャロン Sharon) is a playable character from TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. She was once a knight of Barge and the lover of Raffin. After Barge was invaded by the Zoa Empire, she and Billford became mercenaries in Senay in order to obtain resources so that they could eventually retake Barge. It is mentioned that she once had long hair, but cut it short after Raffin left her behind.

Profile

Sharon is introduced when she and Bilfford enter a house that is owned by a elderly woman working with slave traders. When the elder talks down to Sharon by claiming that she is weak and incompetent because she is a woman, she ignores it and urges Billford to do the same instead of defending her. Afterwards, Sharon and Billford enter a battle to defend Senay from Runan's army, whom she thinks are a band of thieves.

During the battle, she encounters Raffin and expresses her anger at him for abandoning her. Nonethless, she decides to fight alongside him and joins Runan's army. At the end of the chapter, she gives a Dragon Flute to Raffin, which calls his wyvern steed Garuda. If he accepts the gift and becomes a Dragon Knight, she will note that it is his look as one that initially made her fall in love with him. Afterwards, she will agree to drink wine with him to celebrate their reunion.

In the ending, Sharon will return to her homeland of Barge. If Raffin accepted the Dragon Flute from her, he will remain at her side. However, if he refused to accept it, they will separate because he decides to return to Verge with Estelle.

Overall

At first glance, Sharon is an average unit. As she levels, she will be very similar to the other Lady Knight, Kate, in most areas, only surpassing her in agility and defense. On the topic of skills, Sharon learns a decent set that help her offense, although Kate's selection is generally superior. She gains a mount when she promotes, which fixes her rather poor movement. Her support with Raffin will prove to be useful, as he is an excellent unit and recommended to use. Although she begins as a mediocre character, she ends up on the higher spectrum of average and will not be a hindrance.
