Silver Blade (ぎんの大剣 Gin no Daiken, lit. Silver Great Sword) is the most formidable Blade-type Sword that recurrently appear across the Fire Emblem Series, beginning from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. A fact that is evidenced by the sheer Might that this sword possesses, this is offset by its heavyweight and less-than-satisfactory Accuracy rate, characteristics that are all too familiar with Blade-type weapons. To this end, Swordmasters and other high-accuracy classes, that which are paired up with fairly decent Constitutions, are therefore most compatible with the wielding of the Silver Blade.

This sword is analogous with its two "great" counterparts: The Silver Greatlance and the Silver Poleax.
