The Sol Katti（ソール・カティ Sōru Kati）is a blade that was given to Lyndis by Lord Athos. It is even stronger than the Mani Katti. Lyndis uses a whole different style when using it. Originally, the Sol Katti was the matching blade to Lyndis's original weapon, the Mani Katti, which she received during Chapter 3 of her story mode. Athos gave the Sol Katti to Lyndis shortly before the final battle against Nergal and his Morph constructs, claiming that it was only right for Lyndis to wield it along with the Mani Katti. Unlike its twin, the Sol Katti was given the power to combat dragon-kind, along with enough might to rival the power of the Legendary Weapons of Elibe. Though the blade resembles a rapier, it is in fact a katana like the Mani Katti.

In Fire Emblem: Awakening, the Sol Katti takes on the appearance of a scimitar. Its might has been lowered slightly and it is no longer effective against dragons, but its accuracy has improved and its critical rate is rivaled only by the Ruin tome. It can only be used by Myrmidons and Swordmasters, perhaps because of their similarity to Lyndis's Lord and Blade Lord classes.

TriviaEdit

  • When Lyndis equips this weapon, her battle animation will change and will not show the unsheathing of the sword, unlike her previous stances. Plus, she gains a new Critical finish animation. These animations do not appear in the Japanese version of the game.
  • Unlike Eliwood's Durandal, Hector's Armads, Athos' Forblaze, and the S-Rank Light tome Aureola, Blessing of the Eight Generals does not play when Lyn uses this weapon. This is because the Sol Katti is not one of the weapons used by the Eight Generals.
