Lodestar is an alternative name for Polaris, the North Star, which is an important landmark in the sky for guidance in travel. It is also a term for any star that aids in naval navigation.
Lodestars can also refer to a person or thing that serves as a guide.
Lodestar is one of two playable classes in Fire Emblem: Awakening that does not have any skills to learn.
Lodestar, although technically not a lord class, can still wield the Rapier and Noble Rapier. (Though its Japanese name is usually translated as Star Lord.)
Surprisingly, Lodestar can also wield either of the two Falchions, as seen with King Marth.(Spotpass)
