Confirm?[]

can someone confirm the bottom piece of info--Semajdraehs 15:04, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

http://serenesforest.net/general/local.htm The Black Knight's sword was originally called Ettard, in Japanese PoR. When it was localized for NA, they changed the name to Alondite. Then when RD came along, the sword that Ike joins with, which is not the Black Knight's sword, is named Ettard in the NA version, and Alondite in the JPN version. ok, that clears things up a bit, thanks.--Semajdraehs 15:59, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

are the Fe:PoR stats the same as the FE:RD ones?[]

--Semajdraehs 14:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

The PoR Alondite cancels any non-wrath criticals and is locked to the BK. I think those are the only two extra things the PoR Alondite has, and other than that they are identical. --Marth Koopa 20:22, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

About Alondite/his death quote...[]

Technically, if it does not kill those that can protect themselves, if you unequip a weapon and face the Black Knight, does he kill you? Also, if Ragnell is obtained by hacking, what is his death quote on Chapter 11?

Alondite and Ettard[]

I think they should just be merged. They are, in essence, the same sword. Lord Captain Cecil Harvey 04:37, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

No they aren't. Ettard is the sword Ike starts with in RD, while Alondite is the Black Knight's sword, acquired after his death. Just because the two weapons had their names swapped in localization does not mean they are the same sword. (In fact, you can potentially have Ike carry both swords at the same time, which you wouldn't be able to do if they were the same sword as you claim)--Otherarrow 09:49, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

Who can use it?[]

When Ike picks it up, after beating the Black Knight, can the player use it? And if yes, is it exclusive to Ike or can someone else use it with SS rank in swords?Tokoyami no Nietzsche (talk) 09:35, June 21, 2020 (UTC)

Yes, the player can use it and no, it's not Ike exclusvie (why would Ike want a literal copy of Ragnell?) and can be used by everyone with SS in swords. And yes, it will still be unbreakable even if you don't bless it. Kruggov (talk) 15:44, June 21, 2020 (UTC)
