My Unit (Shin Monshō no Nazo)[]
I was planning to make this page earlier, but I had one particular question: The name, should we go by My Unit, the name of the feature/unit itself, or Hero of Shadow, which seems to be the closest thing there is to My Unit's "in-universe" designation.--Otherarrow 22:30, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I was thinking the same, but mainly because "My Unit" sounds a bit funny in context. The official website has this feature listed as "My Unit" (it's the title of the page and the URL), which is probably what the game will use. Ok, I noticed this when adding info to Ruke's page, but it seems kinda odd to refer to him as "My Unit" in these articles, and, as mentioned, he has yet to be refered to as Hero of Shadow outside of the first trailer (besides, Ruke's page would sound odd refering to him as that anyway.) - I honestly don't think we have much of a choice. The official site seems to refer to him that way, and it's weirder to refer to him as some faceless unit that joins. Until we know the default name, (which may be Chris) I think we just have to call him 'My Unit'. Hasofcd 19:19, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Question[]

- My Unit has 3 support-like base conversations with almost every single character. This excludes characters who join towards the very end of the game, who only have 1 or 2. Aveyn Knight 21:58, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
- It's good to see they've added supports in for this one. Shadow Dragon didn't have any as far as I recall beyond a few select words in certain chapters, and they can be pretty handy throughout the game. - Thanks for adding it, though. I would've edited it myself, but I only learned about the game about two days ago, so I was curious, considering supports weren't included in Shadow Dragon. Another My Unit in Fire Emblem: Kakusei (A.K.A.: Awakening)[]
There is more news revealed today that Fire Emblem: Awakening is going to have a My Unit system as well, should we add Kakusei's My Unit in this page or should we consider creating a page and we can move this to My Unit (Chris) or My Unit (Shin Monshō no Nazo) until we have more info when it comes?

- Is this thing called specifically "My Unit"? For example, the FE7 Tactician is called just that. The Andraisang source doesn't call it anything, and Serenes could be calling it My Unit out of convenience (although they probably did translate the source and it probably does read "My Unit".) Anyway, as we have no real info on the player created unit other than it existing, I'd hold off on making pages for him/her.--Otherarrow 00:57, February 11, 2012 (UTC)
Don't forget that Europe got Shadow Dragon before the Americas did, unlike the previous titles. So, if Europe gets any Kakusei trailers before North America does, it might be arriving in North America late like Shadow Dragon did.--Thenewguy34 11:10, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

Bad Ending?[]
So I see a Bad Ending line has been added.
But is there really such a thing? Don't you get a Game Over if the avatar dies?

I added that in. And no, the Bad Ending is if you fail to complete the Fire Emblem by Chapter 20. This is because the illusion of Gharnef does fool Marth and the others, and the Shield of Seals never dispelled the illusions. So Medeus does get fully revived and Marth and the others inevitably die because there's no Falchion or Shield of Seals.Omegaxis1 (talk) 09:05, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
