Suggestions[]

It is quite possible that Sorcerer first appeared in Fire Emblem Gaiden, but it might be hard to tell because the class name was in hiragana, instead of in katakana like most class names. In any case, the class name was ようじゅつし (Youjutsushi). Aveyn Knight 17:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Split?[]

The Arcanist has a different Japanese name, as mentioned above, and beyond being "dark mages" of a sort and the fact that some fan translations call it Sorcerer there's no particular link between it and the later playable class. I think it's deserving of a separate page. FE13 Female Avatar Tactician Map SpriteLapideus 11:20, May 21, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed. -- Khang (talk) 14:12, May 21, 2017 (UTC)
I'm kind of on the fence, the incarnation of it in TRS is very similar to Sorcerer. Emperor Hardin (talk) 20:30, May 21, 2017 (UTC)
Interestingly, I checked and the TRS incarnation probably has the same JP name as Arcanist (both of which share the romaji: Yōjutsushi), not Sorcerer. -- Khang (talk) 00:17, May 22, 2017 (UTC)
