Adventurer and Trickster should be separated since they use entirely different weapon: bows and swords. Therefore, they take different role in tha game. Similarly to War Monk and Mountain Priest even if the skills are same/similar if used weapons are different, the class should be separated. Great Merchant (talk) 18:29, October 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I think the big difference there is that the changes in base class (or lack thereof) in those cases is different. The Thief is completely reworked as a bow using class in Fates and the "staff using promote" is adjusted to match. Meanwhile, the Priest, the base class of the Mountain Priest, is functionally identical to Awakening's Priest, so the change in weapon for the Mountain Priest is the divergence from the Awakening counterpart ("axe using promote of staff class" versus "lance using promote of staff class"). Of course, that does raise the larger question of what makes a class what it is, and how much does a class need to change between titles to stop being the same class.--Otherarrow (talk) 20:02, October 28, 2015 (UTC)
