Character TemplateEdit

Just me screwing with the character template, if it goes well, I may add the changes in the future. I picked Nino as an example because she was the first character I had direct knowledge on I found while clicking the "random page" button. Man, Nino's family list takes a lot of space, and I did not even include the Reed brothers or anything.

EDIT: Updated with one of the ideas suggested here and testing it with Camus.

FE1/FE11 Navigation templateEdit

Based on the Fuin one. Needs work, I am not good with code

ManaketeNavEdit

I figured, "Since the Laguz get their own template"...Based off the Anima one, due to already having colors.

Notes:

  • Idenn is with the Mage Dragons for spoiler reasons. I would take spoiler precautions for Xane as well, but there would be nowhere else to put him except other.
  • I included the Dragon Laguz in the "related terms" section because, well, they are the laguz closest relateable to the manakete.
  • Of the Genealofy of the Holy War Dragon gods, I only included Forseti (and technically Naga) because he is the only one who shows up.
  • I had to remove the part abut Flying Dragons because, well...there were no unique ones.
  • The "*" indicates a half-manakete. Thought it needed to be pointed out.

A question: Should we include half-Manaketes? And if so, should we make a section for them, or put them with the purebloods, or what? I am adding them anyway, but am still open to suggestions.

Things to do:

  • Add better colors
  • Fill in FE3 Manakete bosses. Turns out there were none, at least none named.
  • Find some way to divide each section by game without it being so messy.

Earlier versionEdit

And here is an earlier version of the template, before I started screwing with it. Tell me which you think works better. This is the one Semaj wants us to use, so I guess I am editing the above one for kicks.

NavofTheHolyWarEdit

No, that wouldn't be the template nav name, I just thought it would be humorous. Anyway, this one is based off the above FE1 nav. Things to do: add more enemies and NPCs, add more terms.

GaidenEdit

Probably the game I know the least about. Let's make a nav for it. I included the Gradivus and the skill naming spears to the nav...because. Sun and maybe Gradivus will be on the final thing though.

EDIT: I added White and Black Magic, because this is the only game that uses that system.

ClassboxEdit

As mentioned in the forum I linked before. Added a alternate name field, which will be useful for stuff like Myrmidons and those pesky shamans. Tested with Myrmidon, although I did not include where the alternete names came from, as when I did, it made the field too messy.

Revised FE3 TemplateEdit

Special thanks to CoD for the original. Some notes:

  • OK, so I am kinda using this as a "List of confirmed peoples". They will all be on the final thing anyway.
    • This game has too many characters. I'm pretty sure the ones added/readded for this thing can make there own roster.
  • Colors not final.
  • This is just idle tinking anyway.
  • Hero of Shadow is potholed to My Unit. Mostly because I find that My Unit really seems out of place.
  • Michalis and the Wolfguard remain on the NPC part despite also being on the FE3.5 exclusive playable part because they were NPCs in the original FE3.

BS and Downloadable TinkeringsEdit

I don't know why, but I kinda throw the Akaneia Saga stuff and the DLC stuff from New Mystery together and made a "extended Akania Saga" template. Thoughts?

That sounds like a good compromise here, it doesn't get in the way of the main FE3/FE12 template.--AxeFighterBarst 20:28, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

FE6 namesEdit

...We apparently just can't get these names right. I've never really seriously checked due to how controversal the move from Ray to Lleu (which was justified by theme naming with Lugh) or Oujay to Ogier (which is a reference to Roland, which the Elibe games love to steal from). Here are the names I have that are clearly off, and where the page currently is. Alen/Alan
Zelots/Zealot (I think I noticed this one before, but never got around to moving it)
Trec/Treck
Astore/Astol (Could have sworn the correct name was at least a redirect. Apparently not)
Bath/Barth
Sin/Shin
Gonzalez/Gonzales (Both are "correct" spellings)
Lalum/Lalam (Technically a redirect)
Perceval/Percival (Again, both are "correct")
Jodel/Yodel (Not sure if this would effect the other Yodel)
Here are names that technically off, but I didn't move because I considered it "spliting hairs", since the changes were the doubling of a letter which otherwise would not affect punctuation.
Elen/Ellen - ("Elen", one L, is a reference to a saint in Welsh mythology, if that means anything)
Brunnya/Brunya (Currently a redirect)
Gale/Galle (Binding Blade) (I already went ahead with this one long before noticing the others)
I have a problem. I want the names to be "correct", but at the same time I don't know if I should move the ones in the first list, but leave (two of) the ones in the second list as is since it would be "spliting hairs" to move over a repeated letter (or lack thereof), or just change them all regardless. I would like to hear your thoughts on this at my talk page. Also, all the "correct" names are taken from the FE Museum at Fire Emblem World (the official site). As shown with Conomool, sometimes the names there differ from other official sources. If anyone can see if there are other "official" names for these, I'd appreciate it.--Otherarrow 21:01, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Skill Nav reorganizationEdit

There is one problem. Summon. In Gaiden, there are at least three different units able to summon without the Illusion/Messiah spells. They are the Witch (summons other witches), the Mogall, and the Dark God (both summon more Mogalls). Would this be considered a "preskill" appearance of the Summon skill, or are they just using a hidden Messiah spell or something? If someone could look into that, that'd be great.--Otherarrow 15:46, October 28, 2010 (UTC)

You are probably wondering "What are Blessing, Renewal, and Slayer doing in the Pre-Skill system skill section?" The answer is simple. Gaiden proto-skills. Gaiden had traits for certain classes that are "prototypes" for these three skills. (Falcon Knights did triple damage against monsters, Sages recovered HP each turn, and Saints recovered the HP of adjacent units each turn). Would you count these skills though? I would, but I understand if you have any objections.--Otherarrow 14:06, November 7, 2010 (UTC)

Famicom Battle Sprites neededEdit

Just a checklist. Don't mind me. To my shock, a lot of the class animations in FE2 actually aren't recycled from FE1. In no particular order:

  • FE1 Mercenary
  • FE1 Hero
  • FE1 Armor
  • FE1 General
  • FE2 Baron
  • FE1 (axe) Fighter/FE2 Thief
  • FE1 Pirate
  • FE1 Thief
  • FE1 Cavalier
  • FE1 Paladin
  • FE1 Sniper
  • FE2 Sorcerer
  • FE2 Exorcist (higher quality)
  • FE1 Cleric (Male and Female)
  • FE1 Pegasus Knight
  • FE1 Dragon Knight
  • FE2 Falcon Knight
  • FE1 Manakete
  • FE1 Fire Dragon
  • FE1 Mage Dragon
  • FE1 Divine Dragon
  • FE1 Earth Dragon
  • FE2 Draco Zombie
  • FE2 White Dragon
  • FE2 Entombed
  • FE2 Lich
  • FE2 Balrog
  • FE2 Mogell
  • FE1 Chameleon
  • FE1 Lord
  • FE2 Hero

Awakening NavEdit

Let's do this. Colors subject to change. A few more questions: Should I keep Gangrel with Playables or Nonplayables? Having him as both seems bizzare, and he doesn't have the same excuse that the Wolfguard did. Also, do I need any more terms? Or is it ready to launch?
